Yummmm.....the cake looked fabulous and tasted very, very good. I don't really know what regular fondant tastes like, but the marshmallow kind is really good. My kids were eating the leftover decorations like candy. The inside held up very well. Moist layers and the visual of chocolate/vanilla layers impressed the guests. I'll call this one a success all the way around. I look forward to doing this again soon!
